120G Peacock & Hap tank, just added Universal Rock and it l
ooks fantastic

Installed last week, I absolutely love the Universal Rock. I
have a 120G with mostly Peacock & Haps, and think the Universal
Rock unquestionably rocks. Weight like 1-2 Lbs. The huge rock in
the middle of my aquarium, if real would likely be 30 lbs!
I prefer the black gravel, always have, aragonite, sand, and
crushed coral are too difficult to keep clean.

If you’re thinking about buying Universal Rock, go for it! ;D

I will definitely get some if they ever get a distributor in the
UK, I think i've seen all their videos on YouTube so the
shopping list is ready to go.

I don't think I knew Univeral Rock did free standing rocks. I
thought they just did back grounds.

Good point, while initially navigating their site, I found it
confusing, some rocks had backs, some didn’t and without looking
at each individual photo there was no indication which was
which, .
I only placed the order with UR to support John, especially
since it was incredibly frustrating navigating their site, and
likely would have left and looked elsewhere. I sent them an
e-mail afterword to express my frustration.
Today I ordered more pieces to finish the project, I’ll post a
new photo next week.
I love the center rock, if real it would be extremely heavy. I
must use a ladder to access my tank as it's more than 5' high,
I’d hate to balance a 30 lb. going up the latter, especially
with glass aquarium.

Awesome!!! I can't wait till they send me something for my
studio tank!! I'm hoping they didn't forget me lol!
Tank looks GREAT by the way, love the simplicity of it!!
