       How do you filter monster fish tanks?

       This is a question I have often wondered; how do you filter
       properly huge fish tanks, like 1000 gallons +. Do you connect up
       6 Fluval FX6s, install a huge sump, use some sort of massive
       pond filter?
       Even more of an issue if you want it in your living room, how do
       you make something that has to move that much water quiet?
       Nice problem to have mind.

       for large tanks sumps are the most cost effective way to filter.
       I have also seen some people use filters and pumps intended for
       pools on large aquariums.

       I do not know much about Flowerhorns other than they can be very
       aggressive and depending on the type can be quite variable in
       size. A have heard of quite a few people ending up with a single
       fish in a 75 gallon tank due to aggression. This article should
