       Breeding cichlids

       Hi John/Lisa
I have 6ft tank with plenty of Malawi cichlids
One problem i have is the wrong male breeding with my afra Jalo
       reef female
I moved the male that was cross breeding but my female still
didn’t take to her proper partner.
I tried moving them to a smaller tank one male three females and
it ended up the male was
Doing too much bulling on the females is there anything i can do
to get the pair to breed.
I know the female will breed because she had fry for another
cichlid so there is no problem with her.
The fish in question are 1 male afra Jalo reef cichlid and i
have three afra Jalo females to go with him.
Any help or advice would be great.
       Thanks
       James

Unfortunately there's not much you can do that you haven't
already tried. We can't convince our girls to go with the right
guys, kinda like our real life girls lol. Removing the trouble
making guy and only leaving the male you want to be with her in
the tank is about all you can do. Or you could always buy
       another male:-)
