Malawi Eye Biter????

So I just added this lady to my tank. (Sorry it says no folder
room)I assume it's a she, as there's is no trace of blue. Does
any one have experience with this cichlid? So far no aggression
and she is all over the tank.

i have an albino. he was quite aggressive in the quarantine but
once i moved him to the main tank he was fine. Maybe because he
was one of the smaller fish in the tank

Nice tank! Dr. Satan is really light for a Demasoni, almost
looks like a female Kenyi to me. Dr. Satan is a fitting name for
a Demasoni, my "Demi" was such a bully!

OK update we have lost some fish. The nitrite/nitrate spike
killed my pleco, U/K causes killed my snow white...Now the
tricky situation is my smaller yellow lab is missing. I will
assume eaten as there is not trace in any filter or substrate.
Either the Diddy Comp or the pictus catfish ate him. I am not
adding any more fish until my nitrite levels drop and I think
going for slightly larger haps/peacocks is the way to go.
Frustrating but understandable learning curve.

Ok the yellow made me a liar. I looked for a solid 30min and fed
them and the boyfriend looked later swear NO SIGN but when I got
home at 8pm there he was swimming around... I must have a very
good hiding spot in my tank..

So nature vs nurture has shown its self. The cichlids have
killed one of the cherry barbs who they have always had with
them. They atacked and it was like watching Jaws...I brought the
other one to work to the community tank and he is doing much
better. The cherry barbs cycled the tank and I kept them around
as all were getting along for months...sigh
