       Auratus colour fade:-(

Anyone got any idea why females lose the yellow couring & go a
dull colour like a sub dom male? They r 100 denials because I've
       had fry from them.

Female Autatus always end up a dim tan color and should have
bright yellow bellies with of coarse black stripes. If yours are
pale all over it could just have something to do with the
particular strain you have. I wouldn't panic over it :-\
