       Tetra Breeding

       Hi all. I love tetras but find them really hard to breed, and
       also hard to find information on breeding. I was hoping someone
       with knowledge might help me figure out how to breed them well.

       Yea, nobody has responded to this and I think the reason is
       that, breeding tetras is hard to do.  I've tried a few times and
       never been successful.
       What I would suggest is locating an aquarium club near you.
       There are usually some old fish guys in those clubs who can get
       just about anything to breed, on command even.  The wealth of
       information you can find in those clubs is amazing.
       I wish I knew how to help you, but all I could really offer is
       that they are egg scatterers, you need breeding groups and
       obnoxiously low pH to breed most tetras and most of them like to
       spawn in that real early morning light.
       So, maybe check around for an aquarium club.
