Very Mean Fish Stories! (We are talking about bad eggs not mean
       species).

Well my very mean fish story comes from my very first tank. It
was a 5 US gallon tank (23 litres) and in it I had two Zebra
Danios among other fish. One day a Zebra Danio jumped out of the
tank and fell probably 40 times his length onto the floor.
Somehow he survived and I quickly picked him up and threw him
back into the tank. Well that changed him because from that day
on he grew and grew and grew. I don't know how but he grew to
about 3 inches long and about half an inch thick. He would spend
all day swimming up and down the tank snapping out at anyone who
got too close. Eventually fish started getting wounds and then
started dying. I looked for any fish shop to take him but when
they saw him they wouldn't take him because he was probably four
or five times the size of the ones they had. Finally I offloaded
him to a shop and have had a happy tank since. Hopefully he got
a massive tank with loads of bigger fish who would show him who
       is the boss. Hopefully.

The only real rogue I've ever owned was an Angelfish. He was
just mean. I had him in a 55, initially I'd gotten him with
some other Angels but he wound up killing all his buddies and
would go after my rummy nose tetras. There were quite a few
tetras though, and their shoaling really confused the Angel so,
no deaths but a lot of chasing. I've never had an Angel that
aggressive since then, but he did have a foul disposition.
Almost turned me off on Angels entirely.

Pleco in my tank is like that he chases all other big tankmates
       in the tank
So I am going to sell him in about a week

My Red Tail Black Shark is pretty mean although to be fair I
have not heard of too many RTBSs that are not. So far she has
managed to stunt a Tiger Barb, harassed all his mates. She got
moved out of that tank shortly after and now regularly gets into
altercations with several eartheaters instead. Luckily though
they pretty much ignore her or can hold their own if she is in a
particularly annoying mood. The only fish she does not bother is
my big male bristlenose pleco. She tried it once but next
morning she had a big circular rasp mark on her side and
strangely enough has not bothered him since. So credit were
credit is due, she is smart enough to know what battles are
worth fighting and when to not push her luck.
