id like to know your guys' quarantining process'. I just put the
new fish in a 20 gallon for 3 weeks and treat with paraguard
just in case, make sure theyre eating and active, then throw
them in the 150. I know this is prolly not the best way but it
       hasnt failed me yet.

All new fish I buy are put in a 55 gallon to quarantine minimum
of 4 weeks then if no problems they are moved to my grow out
tank till they reach a suitable size for my 180 as with
chemicals I'll only use them when needed :)

I honestly think one of the biggest part of quarantining tanks
people miss. (Impossible most of the time when buying online).
But physically look and pay attention to specific individual
fish you are looking to purchase, if you see poor behavior avoid
       it.
Personally I have a spare 2 foot tank that is stand alone (run
with water drained from the tank the fish will be added into.
Fish sit in it for generally a month before being added to the
main tank. That being said most of my new fish are purchased at
around 5-10cm so they can stand it in there, if they were
anything larger I'd need a larger tank. I don't treat them with
chemicals unless a concern appears. Have never had a problem in
       10 years of keeping tanks.

Often times, the new fish I get are for breeding so they go
right into where I'll breed them as the only fish there. So,
that saves a lot of issues. But I do like to quarantine new
fish that will live with my existing fish for about a month
prior to putting them in the other tank. I do a lot of
livebearers and mollies in particular are very susceptible to
ich and .. well just about anything else .. when they are
stressed. So I usually do add a standard dose of aquarium salt
to their tank and keep them salted for about a week or so at
least. The salt will take care of most any kind of infection
they might have and has a sort of calming affect on them as
well. And that's true of most - a few catfish and loaches don't
really appreciate salt that much, but most of them with tolerate
       the standard tablespoon/5 gals.
