       PH GH KH Question Cycling Question

       I am in the process of cycling my tank. I am 5 days into the
       fishless process.  My ammonia reads 0.50 ppm. Nitrites are at
       zero ppm. My nitrates are at 5.0 ppm.  Is it time to do a 30%
       water change to get the nitrates down?  In addition, I have a GH
       reading of 161.1 and a KH above 200. My KH was 13 drops. Are my
       GH and KH within the norm? I thought the GH was a little low.  I
       have a constant PH of 8.4.  Thanks for your help.
