Is there a trick to photographing my fish im struggling on
taking photos so i can show off my fish? I use my galaxy note 3
wich take really good pictures. Are there certain settings i can
use? When i do take phots it dosnt do justice or it comes out
blurry. thanks i know its not really about fish keeping but alot
of the pictures i see are really good.

Make sure you glass is clean, inside and out.
Pull your light to the front of the tank.
       Don't use your flash.
Mini Tri-pod works wonders. (or any stable item, stack of books,
       etc.)
Just a couple idea's that's helped me with my LG G2 cell phone
       camera.

Other than the above post which is pretty much exactly what I
do, I also use a delay timer, you miss some great photos but if
the fish startle to you moving your finger, they have settled
down generally with a 10 second timer.

May sound crazy but I've had my best luck actually using video
then doing a "freeze frame" when the fish is in the right
position. Might not be as perfect quality as an expensive camera
       but it works.

When i take pictures of my fish. I use my I phone 5 ...It has a
lot of auto adjust features and it takes really nice pictures.
There really is no certain way to do this. Lighting is key
       though nice light nice pictures.

Taking photos with phones etc does work but luck plays a huge
part due to shutter speed. If you have settings for shutter
speed then adjust it to as fast as possible. Also, raising the
iso setting will compensate for the lack of light due to the
speed of the shutter but the best way is to use an SLR. I have
taken some great photos, even some looking as though I'm in the
water. Have a look at my youtube channel header (just put in
Flippin Fins and it should come up) Its a picture of my male
Metriaclima Greshakei. You need the shutter speed to be fast
because they move so fast. Also, aperture can make them stand
out as the background really blurs. Beauty of digital
photography is you can snap away taking 100's of photos for that
       one great shot.

Just categorise the blurry ones as action shots but then I never
really take photos so do not have to worry about such things.

Here are a few examples i managed to get with my Canon Eos 450
SLR. All were taken with a flash, just make sure as much as you
can that the lens doesn't see the flash on the glass. Best way
is to be as close to the glass as possible. I included one of my
clowns loaches to show the way the flash can light the fish up
against a dark background. These photos, with the exception of
re-sizing have not been touched at all by software.
