Alligator garr

I am getting alligator garr this Sunday and I wanted to know
about it's feeding
What should I feed him and any other suggestion regarding it is
welcomed ;D

I really want some suggestions for its food :(

All that I know about these fish is they get huge !!! And they
eat live fish most of the time. What size tank do you plan on
putting him in ? Decor I wouldn't suggest it maybe rock or
something like that. I don't think these fish are very social
lol ...You might want to put some feeder gold fish in with it so
it will feed when it needs to. Depending on the size of the gar
just use small to medium feeder fish. Good luck with that and
let me know how this goes.

I am planning to keep them by feeding pellets if possible and
keeping in 4ft. tank for now until he gets huge and I will
upgrade my tank

I'd ask the people your getting your garr from what they've been
feeding it.
You may have a big problem on your hands if the fish isn't
accustom to feeding on pellets.

my lfs store is feeding him pellets and if he doesnt eat pellet
then I should think of feeder fishes

There are a few Youtube videos of these fish feeding in tanks.
They are feeding large gar fish so they are feeding the fish
large goldfish.
