       Personality: Armani is brave, kind, and earnest, with "clever"
       being a distant fourth, if that. He puts others before himself,
       tries to see the best in everyone he meets, and never lets
       what's easy get in the way of what's right. While he sometimes
       worries and thinks of himself as a bit of a bumbler, Armani
       always does his best and is fundamentally optimistic; he
       genuinely believes if he doesn't lose heart and gives every day
       his all, things tend to work out in the end.
       Skills/Talents: Armani is a decent fighter, although he's no
       legend and his peaceful time on the royal guard gave him little
       opportunity to hone his skills. He is a remarkably tough young
       man, however, and this is bolstered by a deep well of
       determination. He's also very good with animals and a lot better
       with people than he realizes. Finally, thanks to a certain
       meddlesome goddess, Armani is now a time-traveller.
       Bio: Armani is not a hero who had the makings of greatness
       stamped upon him from the outset. The son of a minor noble
       family, he was raised in a stable, loving household and joined
       the court as a well-meaning young optimist noted more for his
       excellent way with hawks and horses (and his good looks, in some
       circles) than his political savvy or skill with a sword. Still,
       Armani was a hardworking and brave young patriot, and by great
       effort managed to win a place on the royal guard. Despite the
       peaceful era breeding complacency in many, Armani gave his all
       in the service of his king and princess every day, and at a
       closer distance came to greatly admire Princess Altara. Feeling
       it was his duty to support the princess as much as protect her
       from danger, Armani worked to improve himself and help her. He
       even prayed to Tempora, asking for a little more time on a
       near-daily basis despite the fact most only prayed to her in
       their twilight years; there was always so much good that could
       be done with just a little more time in the day!
       Armani loved the peaceful era he was fortunate enough to be born
       into, but his captain did not share his view. Armani was caught
       completely by surprise when the rebellion against the princess
       began, but there was no hesitation; when asked to choose between
       his vows and being on the winning side, Armani kept his promise
       to defend the princess to the end. Even when it put him in
       Captain Malko's way, Armani prepared to fight.
       A fight he would lose, badly, falling with only a wish that he
       could have one more try to put things right.
       To his immense surprise, someone was listening.
