"Hey, do you know how devote Malkos is?" Olivia asked pondering
Elixis smiled as the two approached. "I have a surprise for
everyone as well. Armani, could you open the front door for me?"

"Extremely. Frankly he seems more into it than a lot of the
shrine keepers are, which always seemed weird to me." Floriana
admitted.
Armani blinked, confused by Elixis's request.
"Open the front door? Shouldn't we keep the room closed until
the ceremony is finished?" He asked worriedly. If one of the
traitors was wandering around and got word to Malkos...

his friend as he went to the doors.

"But hes the captain of the guard! No one knows him?" Olivia
insisted
Elixis nodded with a smile as Armani opened the door.
The king sat in a wheelchair pushed along by Kagero as the door
opened.
"Our Majesty does not have much time left so he requested to
attend this coronation as if it were the last thing he saw."

"You're a knight. Has he ever talked to you about anything
personal?" Floriana asked.
"Y-Your Majesty!" Armani paled, bowing to the king as he stepped
aside to let him in. The king perishing had become such a part
of the routine these past few days he hadn't dared imagine the
king would be able to move...but this was better, wasn't it? He
could see his daughter become queen, and they would be together
before he went...

"No. He doesnt talk to anyone" Olivia confessed. "I didnt even
know he had hobbies..."
"Rise, Armani....I..dont have much time....but the least I can
do....Is watch this miracle' The king said with a weak smile.
"F-FATHER!" Altara gasped, about to rush over as Elixis stopped
her.
"Im sorry, princess. Our lord does not have much time left. We
must complete the ceremony or he may not live long enough to see
it completed"

"He's a strange man. Unfortunately that means nobody really
knows what he'll do. Look at where we're at because of it."
Floriana said, although she fell quiet when she saw the king.
Claudia laid a reassuring hand on Altara's shoulder, trying to
steady her.
"Elixis is right, Princess...we should hurry, while your father
still has his strength." She admitted.

"...Lets get in positions" Olivia muttered, going towards the
group
"R-Right. Wait for me, father" Altara muttered sadly but the
king just nodded with a smile at peace.

Floriana and Lacrima nodded, taking their positions as well,
although Lacrima looked at the king curiously. She'd never seen
a king up close before; it was surprisingly similar to meeting a
regular old man, although his failing health didn't seem to
bother her like the others.
Armani glanced sadly at Altara, but kept his position, praying
the plan would work.
Please, let everyone have enough time...
