The Break With Tradition

Now that he had Lacrima and Olivia on his side, Armani had his
plan set, and led his ragtag trio through the castle in search
of Elixis.
Convincing Elixis to have the princess crowned immediately was
not likely to be an easy task, but if it might keep Malkos from
trying to strike against her tomorrow, Armani felt obligated to
at least try.
Hopefully the divine watch he carried might help convince Elixis
this wasn't just a flight of fancy...

"Good morning, Elixis." Armani said, looking a little guilty
about the trouble he was about to put Elixis to.
"I have a request, but I'm afraid it's...very unusual."

Elixis gave a small smile and a light chuckle "Unusual? Sounds
like every Armani request. What is it this time?"

"I think we should hold the inauguration now, while the king can
still see his daughter crowned." Armani said, forcing himself
not to flinch as he made his request.

".....Armani, as long as the king lives, the crown is his. He
shouldnt be seeing his daughter crowned as queen..."

"I know it's an enormous break from tradition, but I wouldn't
ask if it wasn't important." Armani said, bringing out his gift
from Tempora to let Elixis examine it.
"I...Tempora spoke to me, Elixis. Something terrible is going to
happen tomorrow if the princess isn't crowned."

"The goddess Tempora........for the longest time I thought she
was just a myth....but theres no doubt this is real. No jeweler
tlented enough to mke this watch would go for her
emblem.........What is this unfortunate incident that is to
happen, Armani?"

Gideon said, hoping against hope Elixis could believe him like
Olivia had.
"If the princess stands in his way, she'll die. That's why I've
come to ask this of you. I don't know of any way to defeat
Malkos if he tries to take the throne, but if the princess is
already queen..."
