"It seems like quiet to me. A quiet no one is willing to break,
so they claim the quiet makes them happy." Helena frowned.
"If someone is so angry they want to scream, or so sad they want
to cry, they should do so. That is what the heart needs. If
someone swallows their anger or hides their tears time and again
because it breaks the peace, they poison themselves to keep the
peace."

"Just because no one declares their intent doesn't mean people
don't get hurt when things seem peaceful." Helena said, her eyes
flinty for a moment.
Seeing Kagero's expression, however, she softened and looked
away.
"...No, that isn't it either, is it. There's just something
wrong with me."

"But I don't think you can. This...abnormality...it seems to be
my nature." Helena ran a hand through her hair.
"I enjoy hurting people, Kagero. I know, talking to you, that it
is wrong to feel that way. But when I shattered the peace in
this land I felt alive, and even now I am waiting for the next
battle to come. I don't think that can be cured, like a sickness
could."
