Armani didn't have much hope of concealing the information that
the king had died in this loop, like Tempora had suggested, but
he saw the value of it as a strategy when he went to reset time
again. If possible, he decided, he wanted to reset before Malkos
attacked; if nothing else, it might spare the princess and the
others any echoes of being hurt or slain again going forward if
he avoided the battle whenever he couldn't win it.
Making the battle winnable was his primary concern for now, and
so Armani slipped into town as evening fell, deciding he would
try as carefully as he could to learn everything he could learn
about Malkos's plans. It probably wouldn't be much, but it might
tell him something crucial in another loop.

"Unfortunately, there's not a lot we can do to help her." Armani
said sadly.
In his case, he couldn't even warn her of all the danger she was
in!
