In this loop, Armani did not bother with trying to fortify the
gates; his best attempts at keeping Malko out of the castle had
only bought him a few minutes, and done little good.
No, he needed to make people aware of what was coming tomorrow
without Malko realizing what was going on and being able to
react when cornered. And for that, he needed proof. More than
just the story of what he'd overheard, even though he knew it
was right. He needed someone that had been with Malko to come
clean, and he knew who to approach.
"Arvic?" He called, looking around in the barracks.

"I needed to talk to you alone..." Armani looked around, making
sure no one was around before turning to Arvic seriously.
"Arvic, I know what's going on. This needs to stop before
someone gets hurt."

"Malko's planning to overthrow the princess," Armani said. Arvic
was someone he'd always considered a friend, but he forced
himself to keep his tone hard so Arvic didn't see any room to
wriggle out of coming clean.
"I know what he's up to, and I know he's involved you. What I
don't understand is why you'd go along with it."

"Arvic, stop. I don't know your circumstances, but you've always
been a friend to me. I can't believe you'd stand aside and let
Malko and the others tear the castle apart. It doesn't need to
come to that." Armani said, blocking Arvic's path.
