He was a rather sharp man in some things, but in others he could

said, trying not to sound too certain. He looked at Olivia.
"How would you defend the castle if something like that happened
while most of the knights aren't on hand to protect it?"

honestly, smiling at her.
That wouldn't do, of course, he certainly didn't have any
intention of letting Olivia get killed either...but maybe he
could find something to give the two of them better odds doing
things her way.
