How to assign a lowercase letter to Artist Pad

In Artist Pad, I've tried to create buttons and assign buttons
to them.
I realise you can only choose the letters from the dropdown
menu.There are only uppercase letters.
Any plans to include lowercase letters.
I'm using Photoshop and keyboard shortcuts with uppercase and
lowercase letters are different.
Or better yet, just remove the dropdown menu and have users
input their own letters? It would be faster when it comes to
customising.

Parka,
Are you sure they are uppercase. As when I test with NotePad the
characters are lowercase. However the symbol is uppercase
display.
If I enable Shift they type as uppercase.

Thanks.
It turned out that I forgot to uncheck the Ctrl checkbox for all
the button assignments for some reason.
The shortcut buttons are working fine now. Fantastic app.
