       Change default pad

       Hi guys,
       I performed a custom install so that I don't have the taskbar
       icon but have the desktop shortcut instead. When launching using
       the desktop shortcut it just opens the generic touchpad plus
       left and right clickers. I only ever use the gamepad, is there a
       way I can change this so that the gamepad is launched instead?
       I've had a look in the settings application but couldn't see
       anything obvious. Thanks!
