Swapping Out Star Icon

The default settings shows Stars over your avatar in relation to
post count (I think) I know that an administrator gets 5 Stars
automatically. Anyway, can I swap out the Stars with something
else? How do I do that? Do I need to host the image at
photobucket and then enter the code?
Also, can the image be 50x50? Or does it have to remain the
smail 16x16 size?
the other thing I noticed about the stars is that I have a
certain color for the stars as adminstrator and the moderators
have a different color associated with them. If I swap out for
the new icon, are they going to remain the same color or what?

So, a technical question like this about your own forum software

There is no way to do this unless you use javascript and I don't
know how to do that offhand.

Only thing you can do currently is to swap the images by
following the directions in this thread:

Note: if the link to the image swapper (in the directions) does
not work: go down a few posts and you'll see a post by me about
how to do it manually (but do all of the steps from the start of
the directions first) Probably should edit that post to put
the manual code IN it... Ill ask Seldom if he'll edit it.
