Some questions about hosting a large community

Hello!
The RPG Maker Web forum
HTML https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/
is closing down in a week. Over
the 14 years of its existence it has amassed over 200,000
members. And now we're looking for a new home.
Yesterday we made a temporary discord server to discuss our
options. Today that server has over 300 members, so that's
probably a good estimate for the amount of daily users we might
expect.
Which brings me to my first question: can Create A Forum handle
this level of traffic? There don't seem to be any visible
limits, but from my experience a lot of "unlimited" services do
have some hidden limits eventually.
I see that removing ads is just $8 a month. Is that the same for
a forum of any size?
When searching this forum for "limit", I did find a thread
discussing limits on attachments. That does seem like a
perfectly understandable thing to have, but I couldn't find any
more information about them. Could you point me to where you
have the prices for different amounts of storage listed?
I'll post any responses I get here in the aforementioned
discord, so feel free to add anything else you might want to say
to the community :)

Can you get a database export in mysql format? If so I can
import into our system probably at no cost.
$8 covers any forum size. No hard limits. I have forums with
millions of posts, and tens of thousands of users.
Attachments, we limit to 20mb total for the forum. But there are
upgrades which can be found at

I have had people
get 25 gigs. If you need more on import I can bump it up.

Thank you for the quick answer!
I don't moving the data over would be possible. Besides it being
around 3TB, the company that hosted the site probably won't let
us do something like this. We're just a community of former
users and moderators trying to figure out something for
ourselves - we don't have full control over the old site.

ah ok, I could do a scaper as well but that is a sad situation
just read a little about, I think it is dumb for sites to do
that... all that history gone for no good reason... the
community will never be the same.

FWIW - my forum has an average of 100 daily users, we are
similarly escapees from another space and this has worked fairly
well for us.
Support is generally responsive, but the admin and mod tools are
clearly set up and we haven't had to yell for help much at all.
The only problem has been the bot attacks which have
occasionally impacted the traffic/accessibility but the platform
owner/manager has been super on top of working to get that under
control and it hasn't been a regular problem for some time.
Please note that due to these attacks, they did have to hard ban
IPs from a group of (mostly asian) countries which you should
get the list for in case any of them would be a problem for your
members.
