[Suggestion]RSS Bot

I would like to suggest adding a bot to post RSS feeds.
Like this SMF addon:

HTML http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=624
I hope if it is added, that it will be available for free users.
I would like to use this to make it easier for me to post
announcements.
Not sure if theres any more details I can or am supposed to
provide, but if I missed something, just ask.

I built that addon but my fear it it would be abused. Forums
would start be using used and the feeds still posted etc.

Please? I hate to beg but, I use RSS to put out news, and I hate
having to also forum post.
Perhaps only activiate it for select accounts, like mine for
having the idea, and others for paying for it?

I am confused. If you meant stop, then why not exempt the bot
account from usage checks? or w/e it is you do.

Essentially, usage checks check posts, not who posts them. If he
enables it for "certain members" then it's going to be a paid
feature.

What you are missing here is in his reply (and he did mean
"stop" in his reply)
Offering the use of the option as a paid addon would not stop
what he was refering to.
Someone could pay for the feature, set it up then at some point
decide to no longer use the forum service and not bother to
disable the feed settings before deserting the forum

Well, considering he custom codes everything.....
Give the bot an "expire" time. Every month, it sends off an
email to the admin, reminding him/her to re-activate the bot. 5
days after that.....bot gets disabled, and the board continues
dying.
Because, if someone is making the effort to go re-activate the
bot......the board isn't dead is it?

What about making it a monthly payment, that way if the forum is
dead and the owner leaves, the owner will remember to cancel the
payment disabling the bot
