       Yes any reason?
       Admin -> Manage Posts and Topics -> Post Settings
       uncheck "Use SCEditor instead for posts"

       Thank you.
       I prefer option 2 (you can actually see the colours displayed)
       and option 1 doesn't add linebreaks in preview mode which made
       me add the [ br ] manually but then when posted it caused 2
       linebreaks
