Question about Adfree Credits and Users Online

I've had a createaforum board for years and noticed that usually
the number of Users Online is probably an accurate indication
but occasionally there would be several hundred users online for
no known reason. I assumed they were bogus "users" (bots?) since
there wasn't a noticeable increase in posts or replies.
However, in recent weeks there has been a ridiculous number of
users showing up online (just now you can see that on Aug. 14
there were over 6,000). In an attempt at stemming the flow, I
signed up for Adfree Credits again after letting that lapse for
a couple of years.
The number of online users is back to normal now but the Adfree
Credits are decreasing very rapidly. I believe I began with
about 29,000 of them a couple of days ago. Now it is already
down to 21,098--and so about 8,000 have been used up in a couple
of days?
I'm not sure how Adfree Credits are calculated but at this rate
I will run out of them before the monthly subscription expires.

Credits are calculated on each page load/refresh.
Bots are tricky. I try to block as many as possible, lately I
have blocked all the AI bots that I can find. Based on the user
agent but some bots do not have any.
You can try to look IP Addresses of visitors on ip2location.com
and see if they might be a bot

New questions about Adfree

A day ago I renewed Adfree for a monthly charge, using PayPal. I
have not yet seen my Adfree credits showing up on my MS Speaks
createaforum. How long is this going to take?
Also, in the past I start out with thousands of Adfree credits
but they are used up after about 10 days, and for the rest of
that month the ads show up. Is there a reason why they are used
up so fast? It is not a very active forum.

Added the credits. Issue was url name entered was httpsmsspeaks
instead of msspeaks
In terms of credits being used hopefully it is better now. Had
to block a lot of AI scrapers which are like bots to get data
from websites.

Unfortunately several days later, I'm still seeing ads on the
forum, and I still have 0 adfree credits showing at the top
left. Looks as if the adfree status didn't got through for some
reason.
