Can I ask a stupid question?

Hi again. I am back again. The forum owner helped me out alot
in 2020 when our organization was trying to fight for patients
rights. That effort sputtered out and my forum went dormant for
4 years.
Well, now, we find we are fighting for our jobs. So, I am
grabbing up this forum of mine
(abdocs4patients.createaforum.com) and revising it for this
fight.
Three other things have changed. A) there is alot more of us
now...probably 5000+ members might need to use the forum, B) I
am going to assume that most of these members will be less
tech-savvy than last time, C) there is going to be a chance to
spend on making the forum as nice as possible.
So, I am willing to go all in, and get all the bells and
whistles on this forum. But, I need to make it a much easier
name to type into an address bar (be it a computer, or a phone).
Instead of typing in abdocs4patients.createaforum.com, is there
a way to make it forums.UFPA.ca? I believe that the domain
UFPA.ca is currently available.
I appreciate any help you might offer me. Clearly from the
question I just asked, I am not very internet-smart, so I am
hoping you might be wiling to talk to me like I am a child, LOL.

Yes you can shorten the url. You can buy a domain from a domain
registration site such as godaddy
Then park that domain in the forum. Follow the instructions
under Admin -> Domain Manager
