First page of topic missing

I have a topic on the our forum, where the first page of replies
is missing

returns a blank page

shows from reply 15 onwards

Is visible for me as a guest.
If still an error try admin -> forum maintenance - find and
repair errors.

Yes I also get a normal page if I access it as a guest.
I ran the repair process and it said there were no errors.

Error was caused by this addition..

Was running out of memory I bumped it up to 2gigs for image
resizing still running out of memory.
So changed that images bigger than 2000 height or width are no
longer resized.

Thanks for looking into this.
The change you referred to was about resizing images during
upload, so I don’t understand how that is involved. Also, why
did it work as guest but not if logged in?
UPDATE - have just read that that mod does try to resize during
display too. That’s the bit that ideally we would turn off.
Before, pages 2 and onward of that topic displayed ok, now all
the images have disappeared, and none of the images are huge.
Also, why the difference between guest and logged in?

Attachments were not visible to guests so that code did not
load.
I have decided to remove this addition requires more testing....

I understand. The functionality is really helpful, so if
there's a chance of getting this mod or an equivalent working
that would be really helpful.
