White Box/Square Next to Usernames in Posts

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place, but just a quick
question. There is a white square/box next to everyone's
username in every post in the topic I started. I can't click on
it, so I don't know if it has some utility or not. If not, how
do I remove it? I have the dark theme and it kind of sticks out.

It's like right underneath the "e" in my username
(someclevername) of the first post of the topic and if you
scroll down it appears to the right of everyone's
username/member group. Any help with this would be greatly
appreciated, thanks!

Seems to be a bug in the css with the bordor-width in the
.wrap_postarea::before class
Will take a long more tomorrow.

Haven't been able to figure it. Did a few edits but had no
effect.

Sooo...we might just have to live with it?
I mean, if it can't be fixed, it can't be fixed. I'll be
prideful in that I stumped you guys lol. I hate it and it WAS
driving me crazy, but we can wear it as a badge of honor if no
one can solve it. Lemons & lemonade & all that. ;)
