Membergroup visible boards

I was making a new membergroup and I only clicked one area of
the forum I wanted them to be able to see but it didnt work.
they can see every part of the forum still

Can you describe or screenshot what you have setup?
Generally for each board you can check off which group you want
to have visible for it.

where it says boards the membergroup can see, I did not click
any and yet they can still see every board even tho they are not
clicked

What about the board itself when you try to modify it?
Allowed Groups:
Groups allowed to access this board.

I tried that. The box for that membergroup is empty (unchecked)
they can still see board though. It is so weird

Is the member in question have any other membergroups? Is this
new group their primary group?

no other groups and this new one is their primary
