Would it help or can you replace the current site map with an
updated one that I can submit ?

The sitemap is dynamic. It is updated in real time.

Ok, thank you...
I may have figured it out.. I tried to be a little sneaky and
put meta tags in the news section and also the footer, but
colored the text to match the page background. I think that
"may have" caused problems, so removed all of those and
resubmitted for indexing..
Also been using something called "Site247" for monitoring
everything.. Prior to removing all those meta tags, it started
giving me a notice that read, "Defacement, Content integrity
check failed" (pic attached). Sort of like saying the forum had
been hacked. Now that I removed those tags, everything seems
back to normal again.
Not sure, but think the search engines did not like those
camouflaged meta tags.

Yeah if you have duplicate tags might not like that.
