Whenever I try to post an article I will copy paste the text but
when I use preview or post it - it comes out with BBC coding -
This is an issue because members will constantly be asking staff
to edit their articles etc....is there a way to get rid of this
?

Can you give me an example?
Do you want to turn off BBC coding?

I work with NerdyGrl on her forum. Here is an example of 1 post.
We'd prefer to not turn off BBCode if we can avoid it.
Minutes later, Lincoln entered. He'd just heard the news and
came to tell Ward he enjoyed their time working together, and
was surprised when Ward told him no one informed him about
Oscar's death before the script reading.
"He said, 'Nobody told you anything?' I said, 'No, I just read
it right now.' He said, 'I'll be back,'" Ward recalled. "Before
I knew it, all kind of producers and people were coming in
apologizing to me. Because they're supposed to tell
you."[center](Ward in The Walking Dead Season 3. Photo:
AMC)[/center]"But in the same breath," Ward continued, "to their
defense, when you sign your contract, they kind of tell you how
many episodes you're gonna do. But in my mind, I was like,
'Okay, they've got me hanging around with the main people now, I
might be around a little longer.' No. It didn't happen."
Oscar was part of the original prison crew — Tomas (Nick Gomez),
Andrew (Markice Moore), Big Tiny (Theodus Crane) and Axel (Lew
Temple) — and was shot and killed during the raid on the
Governor's neighboring Woodbury.
That example was a simple copy-n-paste of a news article.

I see the size tags but is the rem in size part coming from?
YOu can turn off the WYSWYG editor by goint to your
Profile -> Look and Layout
Then uncheck " Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default."
That will allow you post things in just BBC code by default.
You can change everyone's settings under
Administration Center » Layout Settings » Member Options

We'll test if it is the WYSIWYG by turning it off, we'll get
back to you.
Interesting thing to note. I use Firefox and I tried a bunch of
times to duplicate the problem. I copied text from a variety of
websites and pasted it on the forum. I couldn't duplicate the
problem.

We've narrowed down the problem. Disabling the WYSIWYG editor
didn't help.
We've found that the problem is caused when people try posting
using Chrome. If they post using any other browser they don't
have this issue.
