I untick it >> save changes >> does nothing and remains ticked

What is your board url? I can try to manually disable on my end.

Sorry for hijacking this thread but Would it be posible for you
to be able to post how you edited your CSS file so you could use
your banner like you did.
This would help me plus I'm sure a lot of others looking into
how to do it in the future.

Think I sorted it I used the style Header and footer Section Now
I can get a nice banner made.
