Page selection in posts

It would be nice if the page numbers were larger, I have
smallish finders and find the numbers too small to click.
Better still to have an option to lengthen the number of posts
on a page as you can do with the members list.
Also
I don't know if I can't find it but can find no way of going to
the latest post, latest thread posted on yes but not the actual
post.

You can change the number of links displayed under Admin ->
Features Options -> Layout
Limit number of displayed page links
Contiguous pages to display
"3" to display: 1 ... 4 [5] 6 ... 9
"5" to display: 1 ... 3 4 [5] 6 7 ... 9

Sorry I found that but making changes does not seem to do
anything, I must be doing something wrong but I am not sure
what.
When I say nothing it seems to change the number of pages listed
but no more posts per page.

Admin -> Posts and Topics -> Topic Settings
