Could you make it so people you make admins can't remove the
site owner as admin? Or if they do, the site owner has to
approve it with an email verification? I find other admins be
able to remove you from being an admin an issue.

I would becareful who you trust as admin. They should not be
able to delete the main account and or change their membergroup.

       I tested it with a membergroup I made that I called admins;they
are separate from the default admin group. I used an alternate
account to test removing my site owner account and I could
remove the account from the default admin group. I am not sure
about the site owner account not being able to be deleted, not
       planning to try.

Just to clarify, remove users from the default admin group or
remove the whole member group admins?

I added my alternate account to the default admin group and then
just clicked remove for my site account. I refreshed and
everything and my site account was no longer a default admin.

In the moderation center, then looking at member groups, then
clicking on the default admin group, and then removing my site
       owner account.
