Do we have pop up notification alerts ?

Do we have pop up notification alerts ? like a red bubble or
something to let us know we have a notification ?
I'm just seeing we have to go through our profile to check the
notifications.
If not, can you show me quickly how to make this clickable for
members to go straight to their notification page

it goes to mine atm, but i want to make a html button <a
href="xxxxxxx> that sort of thing, i'm not to clever with
code but it needs a user tag in the url.

For new messages in pm i think
Under Admin -> Layout Settings -> Member Options
Do both guest and default member options

i'm meaning just notifications from post replies etc

would be so kind and turn that link i put in my first post so i
can make a html button for the members notification page, i'll
put a big button in the ezbolcks on the left
is that ok ?

yea its that link in my first post, it's for my notifications
page, and i'm wanting it to work for the user.
I know how to do a html button, it's just the link i'm wanting
