       can i take off the mobile part when new members are coming to
       the site they are confused i would like them to be taking to the
       full site when they first come to the instead of taptalk

       Under admin -> Layout Settings you can disable the mobile theme.

       Also made a change so the welcome screen should no longer be
       there.
