       Not sure if it is an option but you can try going to admin ->
       addons -> Hide Facebook share icon in the first post of a topic

       1. Admin tab
       2. On the Sidebar go down to Forum and click on Posts and
       Topic[/size]s
       3. On Post Settings (content panel) untick the option Hide
       Social Icon in the first post of a topic.
       I did not want it either, it was a private forum.
