       Back when I started the site I clicked show the most recent post
       in the info center. Picked the number of post to be 6.
       Well now I am trying to figure out where this is again to
       change the settings.  Any help.

       Found it.
       Number of recent posts to display on board index:
       To disable the recent posts bar set this value to zero.
