No Admin

, there is
no admin around, since the admin for the site abruptly left last
year and has not returned. I'm wondering if I could become admin
of the site.

Only if another admin makes you admin that is the only way.

The admin that left was the only one admin the site had.

No Admin = No Moderation.
Find out what other site/forum he/she goes on.
When you do, send him/her a Private Message.

We have strong reason to believe he no longer uses his account
anymore along with his email account. We've been contacting him
since the day after he left on the site and on Wikia. We never
recieved a single response. We stopped contacting him after
March I think it was. I'm also not sure if he is on another
site.
