Problem with homepage!!

Hi I NEED HELP:
I want to add things on my homepage!
This is my website: Entertainment - Forums

This is the website from which I am inspired and direct
competition with:
India Forums - #1 Indian Entertainment | TV News | Bollywood |

We both have similar kind of stuff like a articles section and
television shows boards under tv channels categories but this
vertical type of listing on my website has made it bit too long
so I want to give working links to these boards under the
categories like done on this second website!
And other some features like this articles heading and slide
show I wnat to add that in which When I post or anyone posts any
article in articles section it automatically adds in that
slideshow and second feature I want to add is the ranking system
like you can see each forum has it's rank number on it! It
depends on activity on forums and according to their activity on
weekly basis and these ranks change weekly according to activity
on boards and I want similar ranking system for my website so
please help!

You could use ezPortal to create a custom homepage you can use
blocks to create areas that you need.
