Is custom domains having more problems , site down again
back up again, was down for around 10 minutes at 9-35pm gmt

Fixed yeah was a bad input for a custom domain.

hi guys , is the server having problems today.
been getting reports from members that it has been very slow,
some times not loading at all.
notice the support forum is slow today to so not a custom
problem this time ??

Yes the sites are more busy lately due to more traffic.
Unfortunately we do no have the resources to do anything at the
moment other than trying to optimize what we have.

do you have any plans to upgrade the servers to handle the extra
traffic?
or to stop new sites being registered to cope?

Plans yes but they cost money so kind of need more visitors
before we can afford to buy new servers.

this i do understand m8.
I for one would be willing to pay for a premium service , i am
sure others, who have permanent sites would also chip in to
cover costs.
Don't get me wrong creata, most of the time the server is solid,
and love the layout, but problems are becoming more frequent,
hence my query,

Yes, I too would be prepared to pay for a better service. Slow
running seems to be the norm at the moment. It seems fine for a
while, then before you know it, it takes ages to load a page
again.
I appreciate the financial problems involved - don't get me
wrong. However, I can see if this problem isn't resolved, our
subscribers will give up and move on to other forums. That, of
course, would solve the problem, but not in the way which we
would like!

It is something I have looked into and have made some changes
with some queries to make it faster.
