How to add forum logo + how to add a background picture

Hi, i am just wondering if there is a way to add a logo for the
forum, and i don't mean banner, i mean forum logo that appears
in a tab like the attached picture, is there a way to do that?
And i also want to add a background picture, how can i do that?

Yeah you can setup a fav icon in your headers and footers using
html code.

Yes but i don't know the codes...please write it for me, plus
i'm a forum newbie so take me easysupport
EDIT:- I looked up in the forum and i found out how to do it,
but it doesn't work, i added the code below in my header, but
nothing appears...

Help me then! If you don't want me to yell, then help me, i am
sure you have a way tofix this.. forget about the background
because i did it, but the logo, how to make it? Is the code that
i posted right?

Go to admin> Layout Settings> Theme Settings then enter your
logo url in this box: Logo image URL:

Didn't you see my picture at the first post? I said the logo
that appears IN THE TAB LMAO!!!

Try adding the code to the textarea for Meta Tags.
