1. Go to Google Webmaster Tools
2. Click "add site"
3. Instead of downloading the HTML file, click other options (or
something to that effect)
4. Select the one that mentions adding a meta tag to your site,
copy the tag and paste it under Admin>Style Manager>Headers and
Footers>Meta Tags

Chat isn't free, however shoutboxes are.
For that, go into admin, then over to Manage eZblocks, then add
EZ Block, then make it a shoutbox on the drop down menu in
setup.

Actually, some chats are free. I have an Xat chat embedded into
my forum, and it was free
