How can you change the meta name of your forum?

Meta name (the description that appears in a search engine) I
need to do this so that my forum has a higher ranking in search
engines.

You can add meta tags to your forum by going to the Headers and
Footers section found in the Style Manager.

i even got a code for it and i inserted in all headers footers
body but it didn't work

You're supposed to insert the code inside the metatags area.
