Moderate is displaying on all members menu bar

even though I've checked all permissions and they are not ticked
to moderate

nothing that I can think of, today I've been uploading
advertising banners, and arranging classifieds categories. If
you sign in, can you see the Moderate link too ?
I've signed in a regular member and I can modify members posts,
even though that option isn't ticked in Permissions

Make sure they don't have a moderate forum permission and admin
forum permission.

none do, or should have, checked permissions and nothing to do
with moderate or edit is checked
I'm afraid some idiot is going to start deleting - this happened
a few weeks ago too !

Put your forum in maintenance mode under Admin -> Forum Settings
Then figure out what the issue is.

the moderate link is only showing on some members menu bar. I've
signed into 2 of my other accounts and it's not showing.

Check what memebergroups they are in that might the factor also
post based groups

I had a few members as moderators of a single board, so I
expected those to have the Moderate link in the menu bar. I
think a member may have been winding me up - as I checked
everything and there's no way he was a moderator of any forum.
I've deleted the other moderators also, just in case though ! No
moderators = safe forum !!
