want to make a chat on my forum,can you explain how can i do
that?

for a Chat Room, a separate pop-up page, you need to purchase
it.
For Shoutbox, which is a shortline message, you go to
Admin>Configuration>Features and Options>Chat and click the box
'Enable the shoutbox'
take a look at the bottom of my forum homepage to see what I
mean
