New Post/No New Post Buttons

Sorry, I have posted here before under a different username, but
I couldn't remember which it was and I had to create another
account. I read the FAQ and took a close look at some threads
and didn't find anything similar to what I'm about to ask. I
hope this isn't ut of place.
I just created a forum and I decided to add an image to each
board (the basketball ball):

However, now I can't have those "New Post" and "No New Post"
buttons on. I've been around the admin for a long time now and
couldn't find anything to fix the problem. So I guess I'd just
like to know if I can have this option of the New Post/No new
post while having a board image at the same time.

Okay, thank you very much. Is there any way then of, after
removing the board picture, and having the new post/no new post
icons but change them?

Added an option to delete it when you modify a board just use
the checkbox.
