This guide will be using pictures and contain instructions that
are specific to Google Chrome. Instructions will vary from
browser to browser so use Google Chrome as you read and follow
       this guide.
       1) Highlight an area you want to modify

       2) Right click and click on Inspect Element
  HTML http://i47.tinypic.com/2vijoqp.jpg3)
       A box, known as the
Developer Tools, will appear on the bottom of the screen with a
line of code highlighted, move your cursor on the highlighted
       line of code
       4) Highlighted areas on your screen will correspond to the line
of code that your cursor is on, make sure it's the right area
       you'd like to modify
       5) At the very bottom of the developer tools will have a
highlighted box that will contain your element and extra info
that will be necessary to modify it with CSS, in this case it is
       li.greeting

You could be on any device, any web browser, as long as the web
browser has a feature to show you the website's source code. I
prefer being on a desktop using Google Chrome because using a
mouse to point and click is much more faster and Google Chrome
highlights the section of the page I put my mouse over.

This really worked. Thank you. The first time I tried skinning
my board, it looked like an unholy mess. The second time I took
your advice. I still have a ways to go, but I am getting the
look I want. I wish there was a guide that explained each
element and how to change it, but I'm slowly putting in eye-easy
serifed fonts and simplifying the design. I'll have to create
the boards soon and then I'll have to write...
