Help with child boards

How do i make it so a post in a child board of a main board make
the main boards post count increase?

anywhere you post in the forum will count as post

im not talking about the post count in general but if u make a
child board the post count will only show up on the child board
not on the board its the child of...

Admin CP > Boards > Settings > Count child's posts in parent's
totals
