[Guide] Badge Awards System
By: Andrew Date: October 8, 2012, 1:39 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The Badge Awards system gives users awards for meeting certain
expectations.
The settings can be found by going to the Administration Panel >
Badge Awards
Settings
The Settings tab is for the overall configuration of the system:
HTML https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16652147/cafsupport/images/badge_settings.png
Show in Posts: This will show badges members have earned, as
seen below:
HTML https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16652147/cafsupport/images/badge_posts.png
Show total badges in posts: This will show the number of awards
members have in posts.
Number of Badges in Posts: This is the maximum number of badges
that will appear in posts.
The other settings under this category should be
self-explanatory.
Badge List
From here you can configure the list of Badges and how you want
them to be. By default there are several pages of them that you
can modify. If you'd like to add your own, click the Add Badge
tab located above the list of badges.
Give Badge
If you'd like to give a badge manually instead of waiting for it
to happen by a certain criteria being met, you can do so here.
Member Badge History
This page will show all of the awards that have been handed out
to members.
Rebadge Members
This tab will simply redirect you to the Badge List page.
Members current awards can be seen by going to their profile >
Badges (under Modify Profile)

Yes, you can change the icon of the badge.
Firstly,
Admin Panel> Badge Awards>
Tick 'Enable badge awards', 'Show in posts' and 'Show total
badges in post'. After you have done this click on 'Badge List'
then let the page load. After its loaded, there will be badges.
Now click on the 'ADD BADGE' button and fill in the info.
Title - Name of your badge.
Description - A short description about your badge.
Action Label - What has the user done to recieve the badge.
Badge Picture - Click on browse here and select your pic.
Enabled - Tick on it
Send PM - Keep it unticked
Karma Points - Not neccessary.
Hidden from Master Badge List - Untick it.
Remember to browse and change the picture of your badge for
custom icon. Now after you have done this, click on 'Add Badge'.
If you want to give the badge to a member, click on 'Give Badge'
button. Now select the name of your badge (Its the badge title
you gave to the badge) , after this write the Username of the
member you want to give the badge to and click 'Give Badge'
button and you are donesupport.
Applaud me if i helped you.

Under badges in the admin area there should be a badge list area
where you can disable/hide badges
